Song writers want to tax public for music downloads

The Canadian Songwriters Association want Canadian ISP’s to charge their customers an extra $5.00 a month to cover illegal music downloading.
ahhh… so why do the rest of us who pay for their music now have to pay for those who don’t? Since I’m now paying $5/month, why would I keep buying from places like iTunes?
